Most homeowners do not want a large nest on their property. Although they will leave you alone when threatened, this isn't the case for most wasps. Wasp nests are dangerous, but what's worse? Disturbing it.

An unusual method of nest eradication was used by a man. The man decided to use extreme tactics because there were many wasp nests on his property. His friend filmed everything, so we have a great video to watch.

Two enormous nests are visible, one on the roof edge and another from trees. With a bit of clever thinking, he mounted an M80 onto a stick. He lit the firecracker and held it near the nest with the stick. Within seconds, the nest was destroyed.

Repeat this method on the nest that hangs off his roof. He could have caused damage to his house and could have been injured.

These insects can be eliminated in a much more humane and safer way. It is not a good idea to use firecrackers for any other purpose than shooting them in the air. They can cause serious injury.

It is best to perform this task in the evening, as disturbing a nest of wasps can be a dangerous job. Enclose the nest gently with a garbage bag. Remove the nest from the object it's attached to and place it in the bag.
Place the bag of trash in an outdoor garbage can that has a lid that fits tightly, preferably away from your home. There are also other methods to remove the nest if you don't want to touch it.

Bees and other insects can be repelled with an ultrasonic repellant. Stop pests from entering your home. You will never have to worry about killing wasps with these devices.

Plug one of these pest repellents into an outlet in the spring to keep bees and wasps away! You can call a professional if you have an existing wasp nest, but prefer to keep your distance.
